Oh, we also have the Calma andI tested for Medela when they were still creating them. Great idea but not executed the best IMO. The actual nipple is way too long and stiff and theydidnt always work the way they were meant too.

Thanks OP for this read. I am having so much trouble w/ LO taking the bottle. I have tried so many things and yea no luck

Tommee Tippee didn't work for us, although I hear so many raves about them. We ended up using Dr. Browns, which have a much smaller nipple and DS seemed to be able to work it better without gagging. We used the stage 1 nipple until just recently. There are several pieces to wash but I don't find it to be that huge of a deterrent. I introduced a bottle at 6 weeks in preparation to go back to work, but I read on LLL website that there is an ideal time (I think 4 weeks) to first introduce an artificial nipple.
