The directions on the back were clear: 'oven temperatures vary...' I really should have waited until the cake was 'through' baking rather than removing it from the oven just because my timer went off... seems silly that we can figure this out with cake, and allow for more variables with baking a dessert than we do with growing a child.. and it we can't get 45 minutes to a science, how can we expect to be exact with 9 months? - C.
