Best or easiest newborn fold prefolds

Im still finishing the free pampers from the hospital, but want to get started with my prefolds soon.

What's the best way to fold a prefolds? Do I need to use a snappi? Or can I just smash it into the covers? I've got prowraps, flips, and gdiapers....

Re: Best or easiest newborn fold prefolds

I use the gmd orange edge prefolds on my newborn and I love the angel wing fold.

You could just trifold them, but I find it to be a lot of fabric in the crotch area. My favorite and easiest for me to execute was the bikini twist with a snappie. I could do that thing in 2 seconds with my eyes closed, but it didn't contain messes as good as the jelly roll.

Bikini twist didn't work well for my son but we loved jelly roll. It lasted a lot longer because bikini makes the prefolds smaller and stopped fitting after only weeks unlike jelly roll laying months.
