Another storage question
So can I store my diapers(mostly BG) in a Rubbermaid for one or two years? Or will something bad happen?

Should be fine. No one can te you for sure. Depends on the environment and climate. My diapers made it thru two years in my attic.

Re: Another storage question
I think it totally depends where you live and where you plan to store them. I live in Texas where the summers are easily in the triple digits. Add the attic to the equation and it would probably do all kinds of damage to the PUL.

I store mine in Space Bags. Works AWSOME. They keep moisture and air out.

Re: Another storage question
If you have to store sealed and humidity is a problem, put some cat litter (sand, not crystals) into an old sock and put it in with them.

Re: Another storage question
I'm storing mine in a tub like that in our attic over the winter. I expect our new lil man to be ready to use them before summer gets here, though. If I had to continue sstoring them through the summer, I would definately not keep them in the attic (our temps are easily triple digits and it just gets too hot up there). I'd be afraid of the hot doing damage to them. So, if I have to store through a summer, I would put them up in a closet (either in a tub or large zip lock bags) in the house somewhere (climate controlled).
**I do know from experience that extreme heat does awful things to elastic, too. I made the mistake of leaving some fitted diapers in the attic over a summer, and when I got them down, the elastic was completely shot on more than half of them!UGH!!
