i always use the same kind that's on the baby if anyone else ever watches them, but in the RARE event I have help, it's never been more than 2-3 hours, so I just put in a booster and assume they aren't going to bother. I'm usually right, and they don't bother to change...

When I leave them with their dad for a few days, DS is in sposies the whole time, not because he won't do cloth, but because he won't do the wash

When our family visited the hospital when my son was born an aunt watched me change his diaper. When I hooked the snappi onto the prefold she said "Well that's all well and good until he takes one of those things off and swallows it!" To which I could only respond that I hoped her children didn't routinely reach into their pants and eat whatever they found there!

Our babysitters (my SILs ) Are so bad with diapers - they put an aplix all in one on BACKWARDS. That's right - backwards. I don't even understand how they managed that!

Rather than confuse DH with terms like "soaker", I refer to DS's night cover as his "ugly sweater underwear." :-) Never any mistakes since it's easy to identify!

This is hilarious. My DH loves cloth, but has trouble keeping all the terms straight. I never thought about just translating for him!
