These are great! My niece is coming over to 'babysit' on Sunday. I'll be home. She's 14 and this is her first time babysitting, ever! So I get to show her how cloth works.

Probably typing one handed while breastfeeding. My smartphone can't fix it all.

Lol my hubby hates the names things have. He calls our thirsties covers "snappies" (because they have snaps), snappis "hookies" (they have hooks!), fitted diapers are prefolds to him (they are PRE folded) and prefolds are flats (he used to call them "needs-folds" but then he heard the word flat and decided he liked that better, because they are flat). It makes for interesting mornings.

I left my mom with DD1 and a fitted/cover for nap time. Didn't click in my head that she'd never used a side snapping fitted. She put it on inside out and backwards...

My Sil routinely puts fitteds on with out a cover, she has put them on backwards. Even a pocket with no insert.

Worst part is she lives with me. She has used them since the twins were born. I have taught her the ins and outs of all of them more than once. I even teach classes on how to CD she just can't learn how to do it. It's beyond me lol. At least when my mil is in town she has no problems when it comes to pf's and such, because she CD'd all of her kids.

Re: Gotta love babysitters and CD's

These are hilarious. My dad watched my daughter while I was at work earlier this week and I picked her up with a backwards BG 4.0 on.

Re: Gotta love babysitters and CD's

My 76-year-old babysitter got frustrated w/ the pockets because they "leak". I'm guessing it wasn't tight enough. I love her dearly and don't want to lose her as my trusted babysitter so I just let her do sposies when she has my lo. She only takes care of my lo once/week so 1-2 sposies won't break my budget.

Yeah, my cousin babysat once and I came home to a backwards aplix bg!

Also, recently DH put dd in a fitted (that has a built in extra soaker) with a trifolded prefold inside. It was huuuuge! He thought the fitted was a cover, which is fair since we only have one fitted diaper.

My mom has a thing for always folding the front of a pf down. She CDed my siblings and me before sized pfs, so she once put an orange edge GMD on LO with the front folded down below the crossbar of the snappi. LO was about 10 lbs at that point, so at the top of the range that still fits orange edge. For the life of me, I have no idea how the thing stayed put. It barely came between her legs.

Re: Gotta love babysitters and CD's

I just want to know how or why someone would put a front closure diaper on backwards??? With side snaps I would understand. But COME ON!
