PP dispute - refund

I sold 2 diaper covers to a mama. Both were NWOT. To fit them in as small of a pacakage as possible, I put one inside the other and then both in a Ziploc. I then put them in a bubble mailer and taped the bejesus out of it per usual. DC confirmed it was delivered. 2 days later I get a message from the mama saying the mailer was ripped one and one of the diapers was missing. The one she says is missing is the one I know I put inside of the other one. There is NO WAY that one diaper is missing. NO way! I'm paranoid about things getting messed up so I always pack as securely as possible. She filed a PP dispute and I escalated it with the DC and the packing information. PP "resolved" and said that she needs to mail the diapers back to me and then I refund. Well for 1) PP took the money and I don't have it back 2) I know she's not going to send the second diaper back to me.

She seemed kinda shady when I was talking to her and kept trying to get brand new with tags diapers from me for a couple bucks each. I didn't think this would happen.

Not sure what to do and worried she will leave me negative feedback. I have sold a couple other times on here but it seems like people never leave feedback anymore so I don't have any positive to weigh out the negative if she decides to be vindictive.

Contact a mod. If she does not send both covers, she can't get refund. I also want pictures of the damage.

What kind of feedback does this buyer have? I've been hearing about this exact same thing happening in another transaction and wondering if it's the same person.

Also - did she provide pics of the ripped mailer, and did you ask whether there was a postal note about the damage? If it was ripped open, the PO would most likely have attached a note when it was delivered.

They have to give dc number to pp & if not check out then u keep. I would make sure u get both back. If on enbay u can ask to delete if they seem shady. If here tell mod to add to bad list id.

I would video myself opening her package, in case one diaper is missing.

Also contact a mod and give them her name, in case it is the same person expaik mentioned.

Also, retaliatory feedback isn't allowed. If she leaves negative without cause, DS mods will remove it for you.
