So tonight I washed diapers, and when I opened the washing machine door, there was POOP!!! I had to clean it out from between the folds in the door gasket. So gross. There is one lady at daycare that leaves the disposable liner in there and I guess she took it up a notch today. Is there anything I can do to clean it out and sanitize it? Why is it so much grosser to fish poo out of the washer than change a diaper?

Take a paper towel and bleach water to the door seal and then run the cleaning cycle.

I had that happen once or twice in my FLer. I just cleaned it out and used a disinfectant spray. I figure it's a washing machine. It'll get washed when I wash the next load of laundry. I just made sure it was a load of towels that I wash on hot.
