11 month old still doesn't have teeth!

Totally normal! My DD didn't get her first tooth until 13 months. Didn't negatively affect her at all. Apparently I didn't get teeth until after a year, so she must get it from me. DS is 6 mos and no sign of teeth yet. I'm actually loving the extended time without being able to bite me while nursing!

My oldest I think was more of 2 yrs. 2nd was 6 months. Oldest adult started in & pushed out baby teeth too....instead of right where the tooth was to be.

As I keep hearing my grandma say about stuff like gettinh teeth.. oh hell they get when the get....or belly button to fall off... about all of it as my mom wasn't versed in newborn babies. I was 15 month with tons of teeth & my bro was 3 months (both are adopted).

i didn't get my first tooth until 15mon - and i STILL have 2 of my baby teeth (im 31yrs old)

My baby didn't get any teeth until just recently she's 15 months old & has 2 bottom teeth popped out & 1 top tooth starting to break through. So don't worry they'll eventually come.

DS got his first teeth(the top two) the week before his first birthday. He looked so cute

my friend's baby didn't get teeth until 12 months and then it was a side tooth, not even a front one.

completely normal.

but his gums should be hard enough to deal with most foods.

None of my boys had teeth before they were a year old. None of them have lost any teeth before they were in the 2nd grade either. I was still losing teeth my senior year of high school. I had 2 baby teeth pulled at 21 before I got braces put on. I didn't have adult teeth under the ones that were pulled and I don't have wisdom teeth either.

My twins both got their first tooth at 11months. After the first one came they all came in so fast! They're 'caught up' now at 2.5.
