Would you rather...

Drive in a snow storm or a rain/lightning storm?

Reasoning?

I ask just out of curiosity. I would definitely rather drive in blizzard like conditions than in a thunder storm. I absolutely hate driving in the rain. What's worse is driving in the rain at night. Or, driving in the rain at night during deer season... I loathe it, lol.

What's your take?

Rain & lightning. Snowstorm gives me that weird tunnel vision after awhile... pretty scary. Or heavy thick fog with very limited vision...

And screw those deer. I clipped one not long ago and hit one just few weeks ago. Ugh

That's a tough one. It's scary to drive in a snow storm & snow is piling up on the windshield... But that can happen in a good rain storm too...

I think I'd rather drive in the snow (as long as the roads are plowed. Don't want to get stuck on the road- then I won't be driving anywhere.... I hate driving in the rain in the dark. I can't see with all the glare & light reflecting off the rain & road. ( did that tonight with a light rain & hated it)

Rain, I live in so.Cal. No one here knows how to drive in snow, me included. The thought terrifies me.

I'd rather drive in the rain storm. Rain doesn't bother me too much, though rain at night does have a weird night vision thing for me. BUT I abhor driving in the snow. Especially lake effect...it's like driving through a snow globe; no matter what direction you're driving, it's blizzarding thick, heavy, greasy snow RIGHT AT YOUR FACE!

Re: Would you rather...

I'm another Michigander who would prefer the snow! Of course I rarely get that treat since I live a little further south now. Plus when we do get snow in St. Louis it is beyond frustrating since the locals don't know what they are doing and there aren't enough plows and the shoulders on the roads aren't equipped to handle snow banks....

Anyway, I enjoy going back up north and driving in the snow there.

Same here - except I'm not from SoCal.

I love to eat deer, but I have awful luck when it comes to driving. They tick me off more often than not. I have a bunch of deer stories.

I love the blizzard look when I'm driving

I knew I couldn't be the only one.

I'm not sure where you're from, but here in Buffalo we get lake effect snow which is fast and relentless, and can be dizzying to drive in.

Now, a happy little Bob Ross snow, driving down a country lane in Kentucky, I'd take the snow. Otherwise sign me up for rain.
