Need New Seat After Accident

So we were rear ended and need to replace our car seat.

We had a Britax Boulevard. I do like a lot about it but do not like the side impact things beside her head, she seems tight in there and can't see to the side unless she leans forward.

She just turned 2 and is 35.5", she is still rearfacing.
This car seat will be going in a 2013 Ford Explorer.
I plan to keep her in the middle of the seat.

We do have another car seat so we can wait a little bit to replace this if needed.

The car seats I'm looking at are the Radian(not sure which model) the
Marathon 65 G3 or the Clek Foonf.

Who knows when the Foonf will actually be available though as it keeps getting delayed.

Thoughts on comfort level of the Radian compared to the Britax?
Anyone install a Radian in a Explorer?
Any other input to help me decide?
Oh and we are in Canada.

Thanks!

I love our radians, and I bet it'd work well in an explorer. I've never tried it myself, but we did have it in other suv with no issues, and now in a kia van. They have a lot more legroom, and I think they are a bit taller too, for rear facing.

Radian and Foonf are both significantly taller than the G3 Britax seats. What size shirts does your daughter wear? If she's petite in the torso (18mo shirts), the Britax are great seats and install well anywhere. If she's tall in the waist (3T shirts), I'd go for a radian. I don't have the specs in front of me, but I think radian will last longer in FF harness mode than Foonf. But Foonf would be taller for RF.
The angle adjuster has removed a lot of the install headache for the Radians. I don't know if the 2013 explorer has any differences in seat dynamics from earlier models, but any car seat should install just fine for you.

Thanks for the responses. She wears both 2T and 3T shirts depends on the brand.
