Re: Basically it's the weekend!
I just stormed through the flat cleaning like a mad woman.
Did the dishes (unload/put away/reload/hand-washed the remaining stuff), Vacuumed though the whole flat, Moved the bins and cleaned under the cupboards. I sorted through the larder (moved stuff that was in big boxes to smaller ones as the amount has reduced) took out the GF stuff....to be given away. I know she could still eat it but if someone else could get better use from it I think it's better to give it away. And lastly I put a (rustic) bread in the bread machine to bake for this weeks lunches, and Pasta on to boil for dinner. ....and then I noticed I'd forgotten my meds.

Good work Janine. I need to figure out food for us, and meal plan. Also going to clean out the fridge while the girls do their homework. I need to bake more of that awesome bread too.

Well the horses and all but o e cat are outside
the inside cat is blind so pretty sedentary. I locked him up for awhile in the room his food and litter box are though. The dogs are outside wrestling constantly, and when inside they collapse in the girls' rooms.I am baki g banana bread and waiting for dough for dinner rolls to rise. It is copycat Rhodes dough, I really hope it works!

Re: Basically it's the weekend!
Dinner looks fab, Janine.
I had a really rough night. My GI tract revolted on me. I'm not sure what happened, but it was touch and go. Had to sleep in and let DH take the kids to church. I feel almost normal now, except for being depleted of all nourishment LOL. So I am just now getting my bearings. Checked my email and my uncle has finally figured out that amazon wish lists exist. However he is not totally clear on the concept and set up wishlists in his account for the kids as opposed to tell me to set some up. I am trying to figure out if it is easier to set up lists of my own possibly all for naught, send him links to add to his lists, or just send him emails of general ideas. I don't really have anything specific to suggest ATM, and he always does whatever he wants anyway, so I am not really raring to go.So, if I were to get an iPad, would it be worth paying $50 more for the retina display? I'm still not sold we need one at all, but DH seems to think it would change our lives.
