I'm already researching options for next year so we know what to budget for, but I don't really know what to do. I will have K, 1st, and 3rd. For K I do basic workbooks, so that's only about $20 for the year. For 1st I haven't decided for sure, but that child does best with workbooks and doesn't care as much for online learning. My oldest is the one I need to decide on, mostly. He thrives on online programs and is using Time4Learning now. He is learning, but I feel like T4L is just a little too shallow sometimes, plus I really want a Christian curriculum. Has anyone used SOS or Monarch for 3rd and have any reviews? How much difference is there between the two other than one being something you can keep or resell and one being entirely online? Are there any other similar programs?

I use SOS for English. I do not like it for math and prefer living books for history and science.

I used SOS for a state history course for my kids and we did NOT like it!
