What, if anything, do you give your kids teachers for Christmas?

DD is 17 months and goes to an in-home licensed daycare. There are 3 teachers and they are all fabulous. We love them!

Anyway, I'd like to get something nice for them for Christmas but I'm trying to decide....

Should I get them each something for themselves?

Or should I get something for the classroom?

Or both??

I've noticed some of the books they have are looking kinda bad because the kids are rough with them so I thought about maybe buying a few new books for the class.

But then I think maybe it would be nice to do something for them individually and let them buy what is needed for the classroom with the weekly money we give for "tuition".

Thoughts?

DD2's teachers are getting peppermint hot chocolate with to-go mugs. They are super nice (not your run of the mill mugs)

DS's teachers are getting gift cards to Target or Starbucks.

DD's teacher is getting an Amazon gift card.

DS and DD's bus drivers are getting chocolates.

Some kind of baked goods, maybe with a $5 timmies card with it.

Last year when my son was about that age I got some of the reusable tumblers and put a travel size lotion, shower gel and lipgloss from bath and body works in it. I already had the extra products (I stock up when they are on sale) so I just had to get the cups. You could also do the cups with the individual packets of tea or drink mixes. You could also do some antibacterial soaps that they could use for themselves or at daycare.
