Re: NTNP November 25th - December 1st

Holy Moly...can you ladies believe that it is going to be December 1st at the end of the week?!

QUESTION OF THE WEEK: What special Christmas traditions do you have with your family?

ANSWER: We do a couple of different things We always do ginger bread houses with the big kids, we get the kids an ornament each year and when we put the tree up they get to open and put up their ornament, the kids always have matching Christmas pj's that they get to open on Christmas eve, and I always make a breakfast casserole and some kind of coffee cake for Christmas morning. Makes me happy just thinking about it!

Hope you are all having a relaxing evening

Re: NTNP November 25th - December 1st

AOTW: Nothing really....we don't really celebrate Christmas much in our house. We do things with extended family, but that's pretty much it. We make a bigger deal out of birthdays.

AFM: I'm comming down with some kind of strange viral infection that's been going around my sister's house. All 5 of her kids have gotten it now. She took them to the ped the same day I took Eli for the croup (we use the same ped). They tested neg for strep and flu, but this viral infection mimics the flu. Needless to say....not fun. Kids are SLOWLY getting better and with plenty of fluids I'll be back up and running in no time.

AOTW: we don't really have any big traditions. DS is only 16 months old so we're trying to start a few this year. DH and I always used to go to the midnight church service on Christmas Eve but that's tough w/a LO. We hope to make an earlier service this year. Also, i will get DS new jammies for him to open on Christmas Eve. We're spending Christmas itself at home starting this year, with just our family. I think my family is bummed but they live 2.5 hours away and we're tired of driving all day (up and back) for Christmas. I am planning on making cinnamon rolls for breakfast and a big dinner. Hopefully it will be nice.

AFM: I'm just feeling really tired and fighting some sort of nasty cold. Hoping my BFPs earlier were real...anxious to re-test tomorrow morning w/a new digi I bought today.

Re: NTNP November 25th - December 1st

AOTW: We don't celebrate Christmas at all.

AFM: I'm still in the 2ww and had a BFN Thanksgiving morning and Sat evening. I got a pack of IC in the mail Sat afternoon and just couldn't help it. lol! Any way today has brought cramps like awful, it feels very much like during AF, so I think it's another month of killer PMS. FF has my AF due between Dec 1-4. I *think* I Oed Nov 14.

Aotw- we don't have any traditions of our own yet. I would love to start some though.

Afm- I think I'm supposed to start the 3rd. I'd have to double check. I'm going to attempt to hold out and not test until the 2nd. It's been crazy around here. So much stuff going on with Thanksgiving and what not. I'm ready for a slow week.

Okay, ladies, I tested again with a fresh digi this morning (and another cheapie ) and the verdict is...

Attachment 125621

I am a but freaked out b/c the test lines on my cheapies are really light. Is this normal or should I be concerned? They were fairly dark w/ DS but that was obviously a different batch. I was also a few more days in but not many (2 more, I think).

Congrats!! Yay!

I wouldn't worry about the cheapies. You can keep testing to see if they get dark, but I would totally trust that digi!
