Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

The kids got a hold of the thread and basically pulled everything out. I have no idea where I put the instructions or what kind of thread to buy for either, so after getting overwhelmed I just knit instead plus, I can do that in bed and be lazy at the same time.

Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

I move slow through my sewing projects, I don't like it as much, but I try to spend a little time every other day or so plugging through it. DH is so excited about our new quilt project he went and ironed almost 60 fat quarters worth of fabric and cut it into quarters to compare pieces. (I started it during the movie last night but the iron kept fritzing, he got up early this morning so it would be done).

Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

I would love to be able to sew dresses for Avery, but I doubt I will ever get that far. Maybe when the kids are all older and I have more time.

Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

I much prefer sewing to knitting especially since projects are done quicker. Unfortunately I can knit while sitting on the couch, so it wins often.

Anyone need some girly See Kai Runs in 7?

Thought I would stop in and say hi. I'm still shopping in the city. It was a few successful day for me shopping and SIL found a wedding dress she really likes.

I think I've turned into a bit of a yarn snob. I couldn't bring myself to by any acrylic sweaters no matter how nice they fit.

I have a hard time buying sweaters as well Christine. But since we hardly get to wear them, I will buy one if it fits nice and the price is right.
