Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

Thanks guys...I know that I fought very hard to keep her rf since she turned 1. And I think I did pretty good as she is 2.25. 1.25 years longer than Steven was.

I cried when my sister flipped my niece ff at 15months. And I'd fight my mom everytime she'd pick Em up and the seat would be ff.

I am going to go buy Steven a new graco turbobooster at Target. $30 this week (normally $50). My parents need a new one for him and I think Benj needs one in his car for if he ever has to pick Steven up somewhere. And they have a 10 year life now, so I can justify to Benj that they will work for Em (when she's 5 or 6)

Em will be fine, she is a nice hardy gal

I don't know much about boosters.. my big kids are harnessed in Frontiers and Z is in a Marathon.

I forgot, DH does have some kind of high back booster from the neighbors..it is probably expired by now It is for when he used to pick up the kids from preschool which is in our neighborhood. I should probably get some kind of cheap one for his car just for that purpose. I'll look at that one, sounds like a good deal.

Steven out grew his harnesses last year So we've been in a turbobooster and a monterey.

he is HUGE! He technically can be without a booster, but no way in HELLO am I going to let that happen...I'm not even going to let him use a backless booster.

Poineer woman always sucks me in, I love to read her recipes. I better stop and look for what I am supposed to be looking for. Wild rice pancakes sure sounded interesting though.

"transfer stitches to waste yarn"... this means put them on a stitch holder, right?

It's using waste yarn so they flex without falling off a stitch holder.
