He isn't baby sitting. It's his kid too. He is taking over primary parenting.

Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

Hi! I need to finish some longies for my DD that I cast on weeks ago.

You all are brave grocery shopping. I wanted to get out today but knew it would be too crazy.

I like this! So true! Yet when I have an appointment my kids always ask, "is daddy babysitting or is someone coming over?"

Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

Hi ladies!! I've missed a bunch. As of last night, 1 of 2 cars was in the shop, 1 of 2 computers were broke, and my cell phone was dead.

Today I found someone to give me a cell, so I have one back.

Ren Fest was yesterday and awesome, but expensive. I really did need the shawl for the first hour! There were photographers everywhere taking photos of us, but especially Brianna. Most kids that were dressed up had princess or pixie dresses on. Her and her friend were the only peasant kids I saw.

I thought I was dork for NOT watching/reading twilight stuff

I'm working on washcloths. I'm planning on giving a washcloth and a Happy Hausfrau bar of soap to everybody at Christmas. I'm glad they work up so fast.

My fil just called and left a voicemail to let us know that we are expected at thanksgiving over an hour away. Who calls the Sunday before to tell a family with kids and family close by that they'll need to do traveling with so little notice?

My in laws live 15 minutes away but decided to do thanksgiving dinner at his nieces house. We won't be traveling there. My family is here and the weather is supposed to be nasty. I don't need the extra stress.

Looks great! I love washcloths for Christmas. I should crochet them versus knit.

I'm not a great hooker. My skills are pretty limited.

Nice facecloth. They have been on my list to make for awhile.

Does anyone have a nice pattern (knit or sewn) for an angel? FIL asked me if I could make something to use as a memorial for MIL at a special ceremony they are doing at the hospital she worked at.
