This past spring #1 wore khaki pants with a John Deere vest for the funeral. Nice pants and polo for the viewing. I can't remember what Butch wore for the viewing, but he had on navy blue pants with a light blue/green striped shirt and navy vest. I wouldn't worry about colors too much if you are dressing him nice. Maybe my family is more laid back about it, but no one should really care what the baby is wearing.

Idk what's appropriate with his family for a baby. I just didn't want to mess up. I am sorry to bum everyone out. I have been having such a great week cooking and baking for thanksgiving with my mom.

Please carry back on with joyful posting. I will read and that's a good distraction. Thank you ladies.

Many Andrea.

I still haven't made it to the store. My to do list is a mile long. Here is to hoping I can find a turkey that is not frozen!

Buy Cornish game hens. They thaw faster and cook faster and then kids can share a bird. Our kids have "partners" usually an older and a younger and we make 3 for 6 eaters.

That is a good idea, I haven't had those in a long time. I will see what I can find.

We have a turkey that's still half frozen, it's been thawing since Saturday. I pulled it out and set it on the counter for a while, once I get dishes done it's going in a water bath. Blah.

It's good...

I feel like I'm the only one not going all out with thanksgiving. With just the 3 of us, I'm just making an ordinary meal and planning crafts for after.
