Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

should I do the switch on a r/s row or a w/s row? Or doesn't it matter? I'm at the armhole on the w/s now and will have enough of this one to go onto the r/s, but not wrap back ot the w/s again...

It makes no difference. If you are purl you just purl them together like they are one strand same as if you knit. Is it a semi? I would just go to about 5 inches from the end, k 3-5 stitches and use the rest to weave. If its a colorway I would find color matching points and do it there so as not to create a "wake" in the rotations.

Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

It worked! Thank you Fi!

Tomorrow evening after turkey ... hoping to bust out maybe the whole rest of this thing and get it DONE so I can get it blocked and dried and get pictures on Sunday of my sister modeling it... it's a far fetched dream, but that's my plan! I have the rest of the month to get it done per the test knit guidelines... but I want my sister to model it for the pictures, since my preggo belly probably won't look the best in it

Now, bedtime!

Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

Glad I could help! I am excited to see it!

Erica, hope she leaves you to in peace. We are still doing laundry to wash all the yuck stuff from when everyone was sick (kids have HORRIBLE aim) and I haven't finished my sweater yet. I knitted today at the grocery store like I'm hard core and I've been sitting on the couch most of the day NOT knitting like a lump. Part of it is that I need to SEE what I am doing and I am in the living room with crap light and part of it is I just dont WANNA!
