My Mood:
quick I need an EASY chicken pot pie recipe

I mean easy, easy, easy, with few ingredients, but still really yummy. I know I liked one that used bisquick
It does not have to be all organic, picked by hand form my own garden etc,
Just quick, easy, and good

Re: quick I need an EASY chicken pot pie recipe

Start with cooked shredded chicken or cube chicken and cook.

Saute carrots, zucchini, onion, celery, whatever you have in butter
Add two tbsp of flour
Stir, stir, stir until flour is incorporated
Add ladle by ladle two cups warmed milk
Stir until thickened
Add peas, corn, or whatever you have
Add cooked chicken
Pour mixture into pie dish
Cover with crust

Frozen deep-dish pie crusts
Chicken breasts (2), cooked, chopped and shredded
Cream of chicken soup
milk
bag of carrots and peas
butter
seasonings: dried thyme, dried onion, salt, pepper

Sauté veggies in butter until soft. Add shredded chicken. Season with seasonings to taste. Add cream of chicken soup and milk until it reaches a gravy consistency. Pour in crust. Top with crust, cut hole to vent. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.

Make the insides (chicken, veggies, and sauce) and serve over biscuits. So much easier and tastes great! And takes less time as the biscuits bake while you cook the insides.

I cheated. I boiled 3 chicken breast with seasoning. Added cream of celery to some broth from the chicken, added frozen veggies, topped with flour, salt pepper, and melted butter. Not the best, but it worked
