Talk to me about BG Free Times!

How are these? What do you like/ dislike about me? I'm trying to get my 12 month ds back into cloth I'm thinking 2 packs of organic brown workhorse and a 6 pack of free times should do it for us. Should I pull the trigger on that? So many options out there.

I do have some other random dipes, like swaddlebees simplex aio, various fitteds, and some flips.

I dislike microfiber, but if you don't microfiber, these are great trim all around diaper.

Freetimes are cut trimmer or at least feel smaller than the 4.0. They are super absorbant and quick drying. They have the same BG quality. The flaps were awkward at first to spray.. but I found a great YouTube by cottonbabies that helped a ton. Honestly freetimes are one of my favorite diapers! I don't have any trouble washing MF either.

Re: Talk to me about BG Free Times!

THey are the over-all winner at my house as well. I find them very bulky, but Lulu is only 5 months old. They air dry in an afternoon which I love, but there is no exposed PUL so they can go in the dryer if I'm lazy. They are microfiber, so I do need to bleach them every 2 weeks or we get stink/redness. They hold a flood and then some, and contain even the nastiest of nasty poos. Spraying takes a bit to get used to, but there is a youtube video showing you how, and just make sure the back flap is on top. If you have a heavy night wetter, you can add a hemp doubler really easy under the flaps, even easier than a pocket because no stuffing and unstuffing!

I love my Freetimes, they are all around great I just wish they came in more prints/colors!!!!!

The problem I had with them was flushing poop. Anything that wasn't completely solid had to be sprayed off and since it has two soakers, sewn in on opposite sides, one was always splashing into the toilet. Extremely messy and gross. That was even with flushable liners. Our OS Simplexes are awesome, they have stay dry and a pocket so you can stuff if you need to.
