Diaper Swappers

So how do I end my membership. I am unimpressed with how unuserfriendly this site is. I just want to get some diapers for my kiddo I can't believe the whoops you have to go through here. Maybe I am ticking everyone off I am sorry if I am. But I can't even find the rules that are supposed to govern this sit. I have a suggestion maybe the creators of this site might want to send and email with an explanation of the rules and some suggestions of where to go first so that us newbes can figure it out. Also a guide to the text speech used here I have no Idea what FSOT is or ppd. There were a few others also.

Any way sorry for the long frustrated post and again sorry if I offended anyone but this site is not easy to figure out.

We are very happy that you have found Diaper Swappers (DS). Come in and join the fun! Here at DS, we encourage a sense of family and community by remembering some basic etiquette and Rules (click on the link to go straight to the forum rules). Please be sure before you start posting to review those as they are designed to keep members safe and to discourage unruly behavior.

To discourage spamming, you must have a minimum of 5 posts for the ability of private messaging (PM). This will encourage your posting in other sections so we get to know you. As you cruise around DS, you will notice "stickies" at the top of each forum. These are great references.

If you wish to use our For Sale or Trade boards (FSOT), please look here for guidelines. So you may understand the cloth diapering lingo, please see here for abbreviations. For newbies to cloth, this is life-saving!

You will notice that we allow you to have signature lines. Unlike other forums where you may upload pictures and tickers, we do not allow more than four lines or large pictures. Please see here for the guidelines. This is to help our friends who use dial up and to keep the forums from getting cluttered with excessive signature lines (siggies).

If you need to contact a moderator or an administrator, scroll down to the bottom of your page. You will see our names highlighted in pink. Go ahead and give us a pm or drop a thread in the "Ask the Pros" forum.

I was frustrated at first too, but it does get a little easier to use with time. However I agree that there are still a lot of things that are not very user friendly.

Try to hang in there, it's a great site once you get the "hang" of it. I've been here for awhile and there are still things I learn .

I know what you mean. It took me a while to figure it out. I found this site to get more diapers. Then since I couldn't figure out how to even join at first I left for eBay. I came back again. The first diaper I tried to purchase I couldn't figure out how to buy it.

Eventually I obviously did figure it out though. Now my husband says I spend too much time on here. Shh he hasn't yet figured out we have more diapers than we need though.

Just give it some time. Before you know it you will find your diaperswappers feet.

I feel the exact same way... All I want to do is find some gently used diapers so that I can try out CDing with our 3rd baby due in March... Seems like it'll be much easier and less of a headache to fork over the cash and buy new.

I'm newish too and I'm still not sure what PPD means... I'm guessing it is something like the price is for PayPal and includes delivery? Can anyone confirm that?

PPD means it is included in the price of whatever you are buying. So a diaper for $12ppd means it's total INCLUDING shipping of $12

There is a bit of a learning curve, but if you look at it as a forum that happens to have members that sell diapers rather than a storefront, I think that will help.
