The lady in front of me at Starbucks paid for my order today!

She was a total stranger! I pulled up to the window to pay, held out my card to hand to the guy and he said, "The lady in front of you paid for your order." !!!!

It made my whole day. What a nice person!

I try to go out of my way to help others out when I see they need help, or when I can. I frequently volunteer in the community. So it was really nice to have someone do something nice for me!

Awesome! I love random kindness! I spend too much time researching charities that I feel make the most difference when I give time or money. It's easy to get wrapped up in causes and forget individual kindness. Things like this can be a nice reminder that it's really just random kindness that can have the most impact.

I vaguely remember doing this same thing (paying for the person behind me's order) at least once or twice in the past.... quite a while ago, when we were less poor. (yea, I really SHOULDN'T be going to Sbx...)

The last time this happened to me I decided to treat myself to "lunch"(a jamaican patty for 1.50 and a drink lol!) it was this suppppper hot guy. I bragged to hubby for ages lol!

Also I love that more and more companies are getting into the spirit too, this past year our company(I work for a major Arts/Crafts retailer named after a man *cough cough*) heard about "Random Acts of Kindness" Day and gave EVERY store in the company over 100$ in gift cards to give out randomly to customers it was sooo much fun to find that special customer to treat!
