Clear LD Ploy Bags for mailing?

I have a few hundrad ploy bags that are clear - can I use them for mailing? I plan to wrap the item in tissue paper like a gift and seal it shut. They are probably thicker then regular ploy mailers but I bought them for food storage at a bulk foods store.

I have NOTHING to ship all my ebay auction items in and am freaking out

Would these work - here is a picture of what they look like - just clear bags.

I just read that I can for up to 13 oz first class!!! Yay!!! Because I can get a 100 bags for $2 Much easier then scrapping up stuff around the house!

Where are you getting them for that price?

I wouldn't but that's just me. That type of bag doesn't seem sturdy enough. How does it compare to typical poly mailers?

At a Mennonite bulk foods store Usually things are really high there but these and beans are decent.

They are thicker then the regular poly mailer I have (just one...) so it does not streach but is less likely to rip then right?! It is definiatly thicker then the brown bag I was using until I ran out...

Its fine to ship in them if they are well sealed.
