This exact thing happens to my mom, aunt, grandma, great aunt and great uncle. They all swear they can smell my great grandmothers perfume occasionally. I was very young when she died so I dont have any memories of her at all.

Well, the teardrop is still there! I took the picture apart and scoped it out and it is like a solid gel, almost...and it cannot come from inside the picture, there is nothing else like it anywhere else. I still can't explain it. So I put it back together and hung it back up outside our bedroom door. Maybe I'm not meant to understand, maybe he was just showing me he was thinking about me? Maybe that's what you're experiencing too?
