1.6 mile walk waiting for dd1s bus, 1 mile walk to the park with kiddos, 2.5 mile run w/o stopping in 25 mins, then 1 mile walk/run home. Over 6 miles today and not a twinge from my knee, so c25k week 7 day 2 done + I declare my knee bruised but ok for working out

Re: 11/19/12-11/25/12 Daily Exercise Check-in

Just did c25k week 7 day 3 with 25 mins straight running 2.9 miles total.

And now the knee that wasn't bothering me is being a pita. Not sure what's going on with it. It feels like the back of it is trying to pop, which is of course impossible. . . Anyone else ever felt that feeling? Any idea what it means?

Are you stretching after your runs? Pinterest had some good articles for runners and stretching.

Stretch, stretch, stretch. Also make sure you are holding your stretches long enough. I also highly recommend investing in a foam roller. Using the foam roller regularly has been a lifesaver for my knee issues.
