red edge Workhorse, best cover?

A friend is looking for something to help contain her daughter's crazy BFpoopsplosions and she's very reluctant to go with cloth. I think fitteds/covers will provide the most coverage. The baby is chunky, 15 pounds and 3 months old. I'm thinking red edge WHs ? What covers will fit well? I leant her some GroVia shells, will they fit over the medium WH?

What size would she need if she went with a thirsties or bummis cover?

Thanks!!

Re: red edge Workhorse, best cover?

I too would suggest the Red edged, I LOVE them!! Smalls or mediums will fit over the reds in the Bummis...I have a variety of covers and most anything fits well over the Red edged workhorses!! I love them and they are great at absorbing the EBF poop quickly!! We have moved past that stage now, but can still use our reds, maybe for another month or so :_( This first year has flown by so quickly with my last little baby!!

I use flips over my workhorses. My daughter just outgrew the red edge. It's my favorite combo.

On my 17lb 3 month old, I can't get a good fit over the red edge WH with my grovia shells. I reach for my thirsties duo size two or medium cover.

I'd probably go with Thirsties duos size 2 as well. They fit over anything! My other favorite cover is Fluffy's from Etsy. She has lots of cute prints and you can choose sized or OS covers.

I use flips or thirsties duo size 2 for my 15 lb DD. She can wear both the red and yellow workhorses and grovia's fit okay over the yellow but not over the red.
