Katrina side snap cover?

So I went to print out the katrina fleece soaker pattern. It's been awhile so I needed a new copy. Well a side snap fleece cover came up too. Has anyone made this one before? I'm just curious how it turned out. There isn't a lot of feedback for the pattern so I'm trying to decide if I should attempt it or stick with the pull on one.

Here is the link for the side snap. Hoping someone has made it and can tell me more.

Re: Katrina side snap cover?

I just made one this past week. I was kind of confused as to why the instructions say to fold the edges of the main soaker piece in 7/8"/1" instead of the 1/2" of the waist and leg bands since it made the seams a little uneven looking sort of? But maybe this is for stability of the snaps...

Anyway It seems like it turned out well, but I can't really vouch for fit/functionality because I made it for a not-here-yet newbie.

It did feel like a lot more work than the pull on cover, but that could be because I'm not used to the process (I've made about a dozen pull-on soakers). One nice thing is that in the newborn size you don't have to deal with the hassle of sewing around those little leg holes.

I'd be curious if anyone else has action pics of one of these...

I make these and LOVE the side snap. Fits well on both 4 mo dd#3 and 2 yo DD#2. I strictly use side snap because we use flats and breastfed poop can be messy :P

I felt like the side snap was a little snug for my liking. I use the Comfy Cover pattern and really like it for fleece. Nice and roomy, but not too poofy, http://www.clothish.com/item_35/Comf...ng-Pattern.htm

I haven't used their new pattern exactly as listed, but I was converting their pull-on cover to side snap way before they added it to the site. I really liked it, but I mostly used it in the newborn size.
