Morning mamas! We normally use BG 4.0s, Grovia AI2s and BG Flips. I've notice a rash on DS that hasn't gotten better in a few weeks. I had him in Sbish & ODC fitteds with wool yesterday and last night. This morning, no rash! Could he have an allergy or sensitivity to the materials in the 4.0s? I haven't noticed the rash getting worst with the Grovias or prefolds & Flips, mostly the 4.0s. MF issues? Thanks ladies!!!

Most likely nursing and typing. Please pardon any mistakes.

Re: Sensitivity?

With my last dd, I had to use CJ's with 4.0's; it kept her bottom so dry that it aggravated her eczema if I didn't use something moisturizing with them.

Ds have issues b4? What's ds eaten/ had to drink? My baby usually is fine but recently she had a rash & it ended up being yeast or like since yeast cream helped clear it with our norm butt cream.

Nothing new. He nurses more than he eats. He's had a yeast infection before but this was different.

I have been some 3 Sisters Herbal on his bottom with the diapers. It helped a bit.

He could be sensitive to the synthetic fibers or the PUL fabric in the other diapers.

Could it be he just needs something super breathable? It might not be the fabric, but the lack of air.

I'm inclined to think that it's probably more like a PUL, breathability, or synthetic-against-the-skin issue. It's wonderful that you were able to find an overnight system so quickly that cleared it up!

Re: Sensitivity?

My daughter was sensitive to anything that was polyester (microfleece, suedecloth, etc). We switched to cotton, bamboo, and hemp and her rashes disappeared.
