Re: Waldorf mamas?

I'm curious about Waldorf, but know next to nothing. Are there any books that discuss the method and how to implement it?

Seven times the sun was the book that started it and the heart of learning through Oak Meadow curriculum website just sealed the deal

Re: Waldorf mamas?

My eldest is only in first grade (and then I have an almost 4 yo and a 21 mo). Most days, our rhythm looks like this:

Breakfast
Cleanup and chores
DS1 practices piano
outdoor circle/walk/bike ride (or inside circle if weather is uncooperative)
Special time for dd (story and usually a craft to settle her)
Snack
main lesson (I've had to move our fairy tales to naptime, though because they were too awakening for dd)
Outside play
lunch
nap for littles; enki story for ds1 and the we read a chapter book or play a game until dd and ds2 wake up
Snack
10 minute skills practice of things that have been through the full learning process
Afternoon adventure (baking, painting, handwork, seasonal craft)
outside playtime
settling in (get into pj's, read family chapter book -- at present: little house on the prairie)
dinner
clean up
Bedtime routine
