We got our first tooth tonight. Wish me no biting vibes! I am petrified. Nothing yet though!

a sharp gasp and the occasional flick was about all it took to train DS not to bite... And he got his first tooth at 8 weeks!

Congrats!! I have 5 olders and have only ever been bit once. IME, the odds are in your favor.

Good luck! My daughter has 6 teeth and we have some sporadic biting (which isn't fun!) but hasn't been too bad

Aww, good luck! My LO popped her first tooth the other day as well and we haven't had any biting issues yet.

I am glad to not be alone. He has been fine so far, but I do not want to jinx myself. My last son bit horribly. It really effected me and our nursing relationship. I started exclusively pumping and dried up earlier than I would have liked to due to his need to bite. He was a very abusive nurser. He rolled my flesh (still does this) till I was black and blue. It looked like my DH beat me it was so bad.

I am nervous but not getting tense. DS4 has a habit of pinching the booby and leaving bruises, not as bad as DS3. But he does not bite yet. Hopefully it continues. He is also easily frightened and unlatches with ouch.

hope its going well! my ds seems to bite almost unintentionally and be surprised and scared that something is wrong. new for me because dd didn't get teeth until very late.
