I should have been more specific. I have the Katrina pattern, but was curious about machine and technique. It's just a good old run through a serger? Cool!

This is with fleece ... but just imagine it is your sweater with the bottom ribbing for your legs and waist. (For the inner layer part... I would serge the edges of it before sewing it in. She is using fleece and obviously fleece doesn't unravel. But I think that is the only difference. Oh and you can omit the skirt if you don't want a skirty. )
