My youngest daughter and I are celebrating 18 months of nursing on demand! I am really excited and proud of both of us.
 This is the longest I've nursed any of my children. I've always made it to a year but then it tapered off... this time I set a mini goal in my head to at least make it to 18 months... 18 I don't know why.... probably because getting to a year was never a problem with my children so I wanted to push past that barrier. This little one seems to just need me more as well. She nurses all the time!!! I would say this is the main nutrition she gets (not solid food) I still nurse her on demand (day and night). I know it will not last forever and she might be our last baby so I'm cherishing it very much  Then....     Now....     Thank you for letting me share our little mini goal it's been such a wonderful journey and it's not over yet....

How beautiful! Congratulations on this wonderful accomplishment! I'm with ya, sister - I am currently cherishing every moment of nursing our last baby. (She is now 13 months.) It goes by so fast. Keep it up!
