Butter oil for the milk intolerant?
I am looking into putting DD on a butter oil supplement but she has a milk intolerance. The label says casein and lactose free but it also obviously states that it contains milk... I'm unsure if it's safe. Does anyone have any advice on this subject? Thanks so much!

Re: Butter oil for the milk intolerant?
It should be fine. All of the milk protein is removed in the process of making butter oil.

Re: Butter oil for the milk intolerant?
I'd say it depends on how intolerant she is and what happens when she has contact. Usually it is okay due to the clarification process but it's not 100% safe for those who are very allergic.

Re: Butter oil for the milk intolerant?
Thank you for the responses. I decided to play it safe and give her a different supplement that is completely milk free instead
