We moved DD1 to the back row of our van (Chrysler T&C) and for some reason those back seats have a much deeper slant towards the back end of the seat than the middle row making her seat pretty reclined even though it's not in the recline position. I know when you are RF you can put pool noodles under it to make it level (we did this when she was RF) but can I do it FF too? She is in a MyRide 65. I know it doesn't HAVE to be level FF but it seems like she should be sitting more upright.

No, you cannot add anything to prop up a FF'ing seat. I have the same van and the same car seat. The combination of the sloped vehicle seats an the natural recline of the MyRide, makes it very reclined when forward facing. I'm personally not comfortable with that much recline FF so I have it on a captains chair. But, as long as you are installing according to both the car and car seat manuals, the recline is ok.

Re: FF in back row of Chrysler T&C

This is one of the reasons I do not like T&C. I wish the back had an adjustable recline on the seats.

That is what I was afraid of. The only convertible we have ever had is the MyRide. Is there any others that might sit more upright in that type of slanting seat? I know the MyRide is pretty reclined as it is so that adds to it.

Re: FF in back row of Chrysler T&C

Almost every convertible will be more upright. For some reason, the FF MyRide and those super sloped seats just don't get along.

I have a Roundabout 55 FF back there right now and it works. So did the classic marathon, Complete Air, Frontier 85, Radian, Scenera, Nautilus, and a few more I'm sure I can't recall.

The back seats of my 2008 T&C LX (the cheapest version) recline. I did notice the slope is a little more than I'm used to with sedans, but my son actually prefers it that way.
