anyone else picking pecans?

We are! Lol we have three natives my grandpa planted some years ago and they are having a great year (it ebbs and flows) we've only went out once and there are a ton more! I used them to make my pecan pies this thanksgiving (pics in thanksgiving thread) anyone else breaking their back for these beauties?

Okiemama- How neat! Do you have to pick each one or shake the branch and the ready ones fall off? And is there a sheller that does the shelling (not human?)? that is a lot of work. Very cool!
