Good morning. Getting coffee on board. So tired, but E is feeling better this morning. Still some coughing, but clearly better. Of course, his is all red around his eyes with burst blood vessels (on his face and forehead). Makes him look so puny!

Must. Consume. Caffeine!

My birthday was really great. I am now the owner of a rocking new Fossil watch! Ru needs to take it to work with her tomorrow to get it sized down. I can't wait to wear it!

What happened last night...did he get sick while you were out or after you got home?

He got sick while we were out. They put him to bed at 8, and he woke up at 10 with a high fever and a bad cough. Poor girls. It was their first time babysitting EVER. They were troopers.

The docs said croup is often sudden onset like that. He's nearly 6 and it's our first time with croup ever.

One girl called her mom (who is a good friend of ours) and she stopped by to help.

That was very clever. I'm sure it was better knowing an adult is there until you get home. I'm glad they have good heads on their shoulders. A sign of great sitters.
