Re: What are you getting your 1-3 year olds for the holiday?

My DS is a snuggler and he only has baby blankets, so I made him a quilt that will better fit his toddler size, with matching pillows. I also got him a pictures only book about winter (this http://www.bellalunatoys.com/winter-gerda-muller-board-books.html) and a little puzzle. We are gonna be at Grandma's house, so I assumed there would be lot's of other gifts (Not that many gifts is better, just that I didn't want to go overboard myself!)

ETA: DS is 21 months old

I got mine from Meijer, I can't find it online or I'd post the link. Toys R Us has this one http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...FindSrc=search . they have another one that is specifically Thomas too, but I don't see it online- i have seen it in the store though. Here are some more of those kind http://www.matsmatsmats.com/kids/tra...y-carpets.html

My almost 3yo will be getting Sam doll (Manhattan Co.) and Duplo from us. From grandparents (6 total) he's getting the Plan Toys pirate ship, Phineas & Ferb and Toy Story action figures, craft supplies, books, puzzles and games. AFAIK

For his birthday, a week before Christmas, he's getting Duplo, felt play food, books and M&D Lacing Set.

My DD is 2.5 and will be getting a drum kit, a scarf, a book, and something else, not sure yet. We might pick up a couple small toys, we'll see.

Re: What are you getting your 1-3 year olds for the holiday?

My 18mo will be getting play food, puzzles, and some bristol blocks from us. She will be getting some small schlieg(sp) animals and plan toy animals in her stocking. From my parents she is getting a bitty baby, wooden blocks, and clothes. From my inlaws she is getting baby doll accessories and clothes.
i actually think it has been a lot harder to shop for my 6,8,and 10 year old.

Re: What are you getting your 1-3 year olds for the holiday?

My 2yo is getting a kitchen with pots and pans and food. And a ton of books.
and the pajama fairy comes Christmas eve and will give her new footie jammies and a new hooded towel for bathtime.

and a new bath toy.. but I'm not sure if that'll be Christmas or Christmas eve.

man.. I thought I was getting her a ton, now it doesn't seem like much. But I know she'll be completely overwhelmed by it all, so it's enough.

we're going to have the kitchen put together already for her, so she'll mostly just open the books. I haven't decided if I'm wrapping the baskets of food or just putting them in the kitchen.

her stocking has some little animal cars, some little girls for her megabloks, a new toothbrush, some annie's bunny snacks, a barrel of monkeys, some dress up shoes, some barrettes and hair bands, one of those candy canes full of m&ms and some cool foreign chocolate eggs with candies inside.

maybe she is getting a ton
