PP Mama Cloth

How many is a good number to have? I have 8 right now. Should I bump that up to 12 (or more) or just wash daily with diapers (with both diapers and pads being rinsed before washing)?

How many heavy flow pads do you have right now?

I'm pasting the postpartum section of my buyer's guide here:
************************************************** ***************
Special Consideration for postpartum use

How many mama cloth pads will you need for postpartum use? The answer will depend on a few different factors. You will need to take into consideration:

How often do I want to wash?
am I using cloth exclusively, or will I be using the disposable pads in the hospital?
do I have any longer, heavy flow pads in my stash right now?
For most women who are planning on using cloth exclusively, the following will take you through 1-1.5 days. It is recommended that you change your pad every 2-3 hours during the postpartum period.
3 Ultimate Overnight/Postpartum pads
3-6 Postpartum pads
6 heavy flow pads
If you are planning on using the disposable pads in the hospital and cloth after you come home, you might be able to use heavy flow pads exclusively, with Ultimate Overnight/Postpartum pads at night.

What size? I have some preemie prefolds that Im noy using for the next baby.

That was actually my origional plan (why I kept them). But, I used one during my cycle to tey it out and it bunched really bad. I could keep some to wear while my mama cloth is washing!

I have used preemie prefolds (just around the house) for heavy days and they worked great. Will they be enough for PP flow or should I get some GMD orange edge seconds?

Yeah, I figured out what the fastest way to get pregnant was - place a huge order for fun mama cloth! Don't get me wrong b/c I'm thrilled to be pregnant. But I just ordered a ton of mc on Black Friday, then found out I was pregnant on Saturday. I guess I'm set for postpartum though!
