Dude. I was going to make her a kerchief something or a hat with TIG Rona on Wexford and "she can't wear things around her neck, they irritate her..." But she wears an acrylic crochet hat my SIL had made for her all the time and wears scarves ... Like pashmina ones from nordies. I honestly think she thinks if it doesn't come from nordies it's subpar but yea, whatever.

The only scarf I wear and appreciate is one my friend gave me from Peru. She's a Peruvian immigrant, I helped quiz her for her citizenship exam and all that. When her mom came up to visit and see her college graduation, she asked her to bring me a peruvian scarf, she got a gorgeous earth toned one (my fave type of colors) hand woven from where my friend grew up, so it is I honestly don't care what stores my clothes come from if the C/S is good and they hold up, but it will never hold a candle to handmade.

Yes. Exactly. And hand made and home made are not always the high quality, I get that! But really. She has not ever even given my work a chance but she compliments it when the kids wear it. Oh well. If she never comes around its just one less person to knit for but I think she would like it if she would give it a chance.

yeah it was more than a window...only $200 for the window

the rest was for a wheel gasket something or rather that was leaking... we've known it was an issue before and Benj just had them fix it because "that one could leave us stranded on the edge of the road if it breaks"

Re: KAL ~ Christmas Crafts: Dec 2-8

the hoodie looks great Dani, the scrapy skeins look perfect together!

I need to look back, I must have missed something from Erica, could you be done w/Steven's sweater yet?? Will go check. for Xmas present car repairs

Well fi, if you don't want someone else to knit for put cables on the bottom of the socks...while they will look pretty, they sure wont' feel pretty. She'll give you a told ya so, and you will be off the hook ...J/K...I'm sure she will love them and you willl have someone added to your list after some nice squishy, keep your feet toasty socks!

busy day today. Z was a good boy at knittng group today. Wifi worked well at panera so he found something to watch that kept him busy, the tootsie pop helped too.

I made some hotel reservations for after Xmas. My mom is going to watch the kids so we are going to meet some friends in NO, LA and then stop in biloxi on the way home for a day. My mom has lots of free gambling points we can use. Not really my "thing" but it will break up the trip a tiny bit on the way home and give us one more day to relax. Also did some more Amazon xmas shopping.
