Help! Need to know where to find super cheap diapers!

So much changes in a week, I was supposed to start ttc next month but decided to do foster care instead. So I am starting classes next week and hope to be licensed before January. Normally things take a lot longer but I had already done most of my classes. So I had already decided to cloth diaper my future bio baby and I feel no different about cloth diapering a foster child. So I am in the market for some super cheap diapers and where to find them. I am going to be licensed for ages 0-3 so my future stash needs to be versatile enough to go from newborn to toddlerhood overnight. Any help on where to find stuff super cheap and even ideas on what would be best for the situation would be greatly appreciates, I have only researched newborn diapers because with a bio baby I figured that I would be able to discover what worked best for them as we went along, in this situation I can't buy a new stash for each child so what I buy needs to work with all kinds of body styles. Thank you in advance.

CONGRATS!!! I love foster mommies! Your best bet would be a stash of one-size pockets. Alva (alvababy.com) diapers are about as cheap as you can get for good quality - the solid colour ones are about $5 shipped. They also make a newborn sized diaper that I loved and fit up to about 2 months.

I wish I could do alvas, but I just can't support them as a company knowing some of the things they have done. :-(

If you dont want to do Alvas Im not sure how youd feel about Sunbabies or Kawaii. If those are out your best options are flats and OS covers

I was going to say flats and OS covers too. And some doublers, since an older toddler might need them. I do not know if flats and covers would work for nighttime however.

I would do flats and OS covers, econobum kits, or cheap pockets. Diaper safari pockets are nice and on sale all the time for about $6.95-$8.95. HTH

I would do prefolds, flats and OS covers. Maybe get a few wool covers for night though. We always needed the extra strength of wool with prefolds and/or flats at night. I would search here on FSOT and definitely watch FFS too! Also craigslist is great for diapers as well.

What you are doing is so wonderful! I'm sure any child that you foster will be in the best hands!
