Re: Big Mama's December Support Thread

I'm a size 14 at 150lbs. I'm 5'3" and have a large frame. It's nice because it means that even at 225 I wear an 18 (not an 18W, just an 18). However, it's a bit frustrating because I have to lose more than most people in order to see a change in pants size. Most people are going to drop more than 2 pants sized if they lose 75 lbs.

Re: Big Mama's December Support Thread

Your name Rachel
Starting Weight 188
Current Weight 188??
Short-Term Goal 175 by 6 week check up
Long-Term Goal 145 by????
Weight Lost to Date 0
Weight Loss Plan- eat right and exercise

Hey guys, glad to see some of you are still around! I had little one this week and am ready to start tackling this weight. I did well, I am not sure of my final weight, but 2 weeks ago I was 198, so I am guessing I go to 200 with this pregnancy. Which if we go back in records, I was 248 with the last pregnancy. So needless to say, this pregnancy was so much better the last few months than I have ever experienced. I had never been below or at 200 before at the end of the other 5. I am confident that is why I felt so great. I fear how I will do with losing weight this round, I am awful hungry already, craving sweets/breads when I never did while preggo?
My scale broke, so I will hopefully get one the next week or so. Oh and I started the pregnancy at 176, was down to 166 this time last yr, but put on about 10lbs over the winter last yr and held stead at that gain for months till pregnancy was full blown.....

FOr those not familiar with me, I used to be on here, so yes I have lost big weight, though not in that criteria as before, I still feel I need to be here.

Re: Big Mama's December Support Thread

Been out of town all weekend which means eating has not been great. Up two lbs still, really need to get at it and get back to where I was. I also need to quit eating crap constantly.

The scale is stuck!!! I really wanted to be 180 by Christmas but its just not going to happen. I've been hovering around 190 for weeks. I have however lost 35 lbs since having my LO who is only 13 weeks old so maybe I shouldn't be complaining. My diet is so limited with my EBF baby's allergies that the Ped told me that I would lose weight without trying but my weight loss has stalled out. I'm also hypothyroid and I stopped losing about the same time my meds were cut back after the pregnancy. I'm supposed to do some blood work after Christmas but maybe I can get my Endo to test sooner. Maybe my dose was cut back way too much. I have been having hypo symptoms. Idk. Is anybody else stuck?

I've been stuck at 155 for MONTHS! It's incredibly frustrating. Although being stuck is better than going up which is what I've been doing consistently this last week.

Re: Big Mama's December Support Thread

Happy Monday All! I'm back to feeling somewhat normal, although still taking pain meds and antibiotics for the tooth. I'm determined to get my eating back on track today. I'm back to logging after my "break" and I NEED to do better.
