This actually just happened to me a few weeks ago. I had a positive test only because I saw bright red blood. It wasn't like a period and no insane cramps. The third day I passed several huge clots (never have before). I went to the ER to make sure I had completed the miscarriage, even tho the bleeding was minimal. My body absorbed most of it and all they did was tell me things were mainly empty. If you feel like things are okay, then no need to go, but for me, I needed definitive answers. Good luck mama!

I agree w/PP, I would contact an Ob/Gyn. I had that happen when I was having issues with fibroids. Get checked out to find the cause.

Thank you. It's been crazy with 11 say cycles, terrible pain in my ovaries, and heavy bleeding.

Re: could I be having an early miscarriage

Do you have endometriosis (sp?) or a hormone imbalance? Those factors would cause AF with clots. I have/had PCOS and I had AF for years that had bleeding as you described. After I had my first loss, it changed my AF a bit and the clots weren't as bad. I'm praying this is natures way of cleaning you out to grow a healthy bean, mama! Hugs!

Idk if I have endo. No Obgyn has said anything yet but I'll have to ask for help with the next Obgyn.

Fibroids also cause awful, heavy periods. A lot of women have them, especially as they get older (30s and up).

Endo can only be diagnosed via laparoscopic surgery although you usually have a lot of pain and heavy periods. They can also see signs of Endo (usually) with a hysteralopingagram (i know I'm botching that name - it's a common test if you have issues). Fibroids are diagnosed with ultrasounds.

If your hcg is very low you might get a bfn but it could still be a m/c I think endo or fibroids could be it too nought. I'd def go in
