Nursing/breasts suddenly sensitive

My twins are 20 months and just yesterday suddenly nursing and my right breast is very sensitive. Why would this happen? I've also seemed a be more swollen/full (I don't know the difference) in both breasts...?

I know we're all sick of this question, but is it possible you might be pregnant? That's my first symptom, even before missing AF is sensitive, tender and swollen/full breasts.

This feels a lot like stinging not so much the pregnant feeling.

First of all, great job still nursing twins at 20 mos.! Sounds like thrush to me. I had it with my twins, but they never really displayed any signs of it. I did Diflucan and Jack Newmans's nipple cream and felt much better within a few days.

Agree on thrush idea. A friend found found out you can get really anytime not just at beginning.
