I really like my LG - we've had it for over 3 years... it has a sanitary setting, but I only use it for sheets and towels on occasion, I wouldn't use it for anything with pul but you could certainly use it for prefolds,flats, or inserts... It is a very long cycle so besides the fact that the water is too hot for pul it would take close to 4 hours to do a load with an extra pre and post rinse!

My washer has a water plus and extra rinse feature, so I just have to press those buttons before I start my wash and I get more water and an extra rinse at the end... I also love that it has a quick cycle feature.

I run a quick water plus cycle on cold with a little bleach (about 35 minutes) and then I do a regular cycle with water plus, extra rinse with hot water and Tide (about 1hr 10min)... my diapers always come out clean!

What I meant is that many ofthe HE models have an internal temp gage that ddoesn't allow you to use hot water over a certain temp...as Alaskamum says here...

I want to be able to use hot water, not warm. Soap is def. important! But I have found that hot water is also essential for my dipes to get clean. Not super-duper hot, but not luke warm by the time the drum is full, either.
