Sciatic pain already?

Is anyone else having really bad sciatic pain already? I'm only 15 weeks, but I've been having awful, nonstop sciatic pain since 13 weeks. I have some back problems already, but I never had this with my pregnancy with my daughter so I was kinda unpleasantly surprised by it.
Did anybody else have it early and have it go away later? Or have any suggestions for making it more pleasant? Yoga helps a bit, but nothing else I've tried seems to work.

I have had it since around when it started for you. It definitely comes in horrid waves that can be nearly unbearable. My doctor said if it doesn't get better she will send me to their chiropractor or physical therapist. I wish you luck!

I'm right with you. I have a massage booked for monday, which helps me a lot. With DD I had it until around 5 or 6 months and then it went away. Its so horrible for me in the early months that I was terrified of the third trimester. People kept telling me, it only gets worse. But for me it got much better.

Re: Sciatic pain already?

Not sciatic pain, but I am already having quite severe pain in my pelvic floor, lower back and hips. I have been referred to a physical therapist and was advised to start treatment as soon as possible (this week if possible). It's too early for this stuff I'm barely showing.

Thanks ladies! I seriously can't believe it states so early. The baby weighs only a couple ounces! Hopefully we'll all feel better soon.

I've been having pubic bone pain as well, not aure what that's about. If I'm out and about for the day it feels like I've been riding a bike on a bumpy road for hours. Lol

I had some wicked sciatic pain around week 13-16. My midwife sent me to a physical therapist & it really helped. It was just a few stretches & gentle strength training.

Walking not super fast helped a lot too. Not a lot of sitting.

Hope it lets up soon because it hurts really bad!
