Anyone ever have dc# show package delivered....

I've still never received the return. The person that sent it will respond to my messages only after several weeks at a time. I think if I had known it was sent when it allegedly was I may have had a chance to locate it.
I'm pretty sure I'm dealing with a scammer

Yes, I called the post office. I did end up getting the package a few dsys later, never found out what the problem was.

You know I feel your pain. In about to lose $64 via PP to this same person who claims she didn't get 2 of my beautiful Elbees. My DC shows the package was delivered on 11/15. She says the package was empty. Did you refund her?

It is the same person.
I called the post office and they said because it had been so long it wouldn't be very helpful to ask a mail carrier about a specific package. If only I had known when it was shipped.
The PP makes me feel like there is more to the story though...

Contact a MOD. I would not refund yet. Seriously. I'd also call PP if it becomes an issue. They should know its a possible scam. Seems very odd. Pm me who

I know we got mail 4 yrs later for family that used to live in our house but we have new address for them. We get neighbor mail frequently or even sometimes looks like po sees our house number & assume its us.... road name & family name completely off... so who knows during holiday season. There are few threads relating to usps woes/ troubles.

This person has filed a paypal claim against the PP and I.

She contacted me the day she saidthe pkg arrived with no contents & said she would call her PO to investigate & get back with me. I'll have to check PM dates to be sure, but it took her at least a few days to get back. At that point we both said we would investigate, and she would get back with me. A couple of weeks passed, and I contacted her. Several days later she wrote that she'd been unsuccessful in finding he items at her PO. She had another call to make to investigate. Then about 3 weeks later she PM'ed to say she couldn't locate them & wanted a refund.
I wish I'd known/thought to call her PO earlier on. Now it's 6 weeks later. I will try to call this week, but we're on vacation with family that we never see, so finding time may be tough. I wish I knew whether USPS reliably stamps the DC with a "damaged note"?
