I got a stomach bug twice during the last pregnancy. At 37 weeks it caused some contractions but I drank a bunch of water and a shot of rum and they went away. At this point, stay hydrated!

Aw, poor mama! Doesn't sound like food poisoning as much as it sounds like you consumed bacteria from that dirty rag/sponge from cleaning. YOu guys need to drink tons of water to not only help flush the gross crap outa you, but to also keep hydrated. I'm sure baby is fine, as the placenta will filter the crapola coming, but I'm sure you are pretty upset at the whole thing! Next time you help, bring a lunch of your own just to be safe
