Safe protection for car seat?

I know that for the most part it's not really recommended to have anything under the car seat, but I am thinking that DH would *really* like to protect the back of his seat from little ERF feet. I am wondering if there is a product made to protect that part of the seat and if something like that is safe. Maybe get one of the ones that protects the whole seat and remove the part that would go under the seat? I am buying Radian RXTs as our next seat, FWIW (DD is currently still in her bucket).

Do you have any old towels sitting around? Or buy the cheapest one you can find at Walmart, or somewhere like that. Drape it over the back of the seat so it hangs down and covers the vehicle seat back. Easy-peasy and cheap. (It's okay to have a thin towel between the bottom of the child seat and the seating surface of the seat too, fyi.)

Or what about a cheap table cloth? You could cut it to size and dirt would just wipe right off.

Swagbucks. Search. Earn. Redeem. Yep, it's that simple (I've earned $70 in gift cards and counting!).

Most kick mats that work for FFers can be used to protect the back of the vehicle seat if your headrests are adjustable for a RFer.
